Job summary

Heated Mechanical Services is seeking an experienced Electrician for an industrial and commercial electrical installation project in Hampshire on an initial 8-week contract. The role involves installing, maintaining and terminating electrical systems, reading drawings (SLD/BCD), and ensuring compliance with BS7671 and site RAMS.

The successful candidate will join a skilled site team, work safely to a high standard, and start immediately.

Qualifications

• Gold CSCS / ECS Card is required.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings (SLD/BCD).
• 18th Edition BS7671 knowledge is essential.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation works across an industrial/commercial project.
• Install, maintain and terminate electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, including SLD and BCD drawings.
• Complete installation works in accordance with project specifications and programme requirements.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with current regulations.
• Work alongside the Electrical Supervisor and wider site team.
• Identify and report any technical or site-based issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Follow all site health & safety procedures and RAMS.
• Ensure electrical works comply with BS7671 / 18th Edition requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation works safely, efficiently and to a high standard, working as part of an experienced site team.
