Job summary

Heated Mechanical Services is seeking an experienced Electrician for an industrial and commercial electrical installation project in Hampshire on an initial 8-week contract. The role involves installing, maintaining and terminating electrical systems, reading drawings (SLD/BCD), and ensuring compliance with BS7671 and site RAMS.

The successful candidate will join a skilled site team, work safely to a high standard, and start immediately.

Qualifications

Gold CSCS / ECS Card is required.
Read and interpret electrical drawings (SLD/BCD).
18th Edition BS7671 knowledge is essential.
Full UK driving licence.
Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Carry out electrical installation works across an industrial/commercial project.
Install, maintain and terminate electrical systems and equipment.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, including SLD and BCD drawings.
Complete installation works in accordance with project specifications and programme requirements.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with current regulations.
Work alongside the Electrical Supervisor and wider site team.
Identify and report any technical or site-based issues.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Follow all site health & safety procedures and RAMS.
Ensure electrical works comply with BS7671 / 18th Edition requirements.
