Job description

As an Industrial Electrician you are responsible for new equipment installation for projects within a timely manner.

• You will troubleshoot problems for the repair of existing equipment.
• You will be responsible for preventive maintenance for existing equipment.
• We expect timely response to projects and repair to minimize downtime for equipment and production lines.
• Your shift will be structured on night shift (7pm-7am) on a four on four off schedule with training availability on daylight (7am-7pm) in the first introductory months.

THE ENVIRONMENT

Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures and guidelines must always be adhered to. Applicants must be able to work in a manufacturing industrial environment and be able to wear personal protective equipment such as safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.

Your profile

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

• Completion of a formal technical training program (vocational/college level).
• Previous industrial electrical experience will be considered in lieu of formal documented technical training.
• Must have working knowledge of single and three phase AC systems.
• Must be able to work in industrial environment.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic controls, programmable logic controllers, AC and DC drives, motor controls and instruments.
• Able to read and work from schematics and drawings.
• Must be willing to work nights and overtime.
• No relocation assistance or housing assistance is offered for this position.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.
