Rise10 Recruitment are working with an established electrical business based in Wellingborough that is looking to add an experienced Electrician to its growing team. The role covers residential, commercial and industrial projects with opportunities to work on EV installations and maintenance, offering hands-on responsibility and clear progression.

The successful candidate will be time-served with around five years of experience, hold a Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation, and be familiar

Qualifications

• Time-served Electrician with around five years’ experience in commercial installations.
• Experience coordinating the day-to-day work of an installation team.
• Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems across projects (residential, commercial, industrial).
• Taking responsibility for day-to-day running of commercial electrical installations and coordinating work with other electricians.
• Supervising and mentoring junior electricians and apprentices.
• Working with Contracts Managers to keep projects on track and efficient.
• Inspecting electrical systems, identifying faults and implementing solutions.
• Carrying out electrical testing and inspections, including EICRs where experienced.
• Maintaining accurate records of work, materials and time spent.
• Ensuring all work meets electrical regulations, health and safety requirements and company procedures.
• Communicating effectively with customers, colleagues and management.

Rise10 Recruitment are working with an established electrical business based in Wellingborough that is looking to add an experienced Electrician to its growing team.

This is a great opportunity for a time-served Electrician with a background in commercial installations who enjoys being hands‑on, taking responsibility for day‑to‑day site activities and working closely with Contracts Managers. The company is also keen to support someone who wants to develop their skills and progress professionally.

You’ll work across a varied range of residential, commercial and industrial projects, with opportunities to get involved in EV installations and commercial maintenance.

• Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems across a variety of projects.
• Taking responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of commercial electrical installations and coordinating work with other electricians.
• Supporting and supervising junior electricians and apprentices, sharing your knowledge and experience.
• Working closely with Contracts Managers to keep projects running smoothly and efficiently.
• Inspecting electrical systems, identifying faults and implementing effective solutions.
• Carrying out electrical testing and inspections, including EICRs where experienced.
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed, materials used and time spent on tasks.
• Ensuring all work meets relevant electrical regulations, health and safety requirements and company procedures.
• Communicating effectively with customers, colleagues and management to keep everyone up to date.

What we’re looking for

• A time‑served Electrician with ideally around five years’ experience.
• Experience working on commercial electrical installations and coordinating the day‑to‑day work of an installation team.
• A Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• A full UK driving licence.
• A positive, professional approach with good communication skills and a commitment to safe working.
• Someone keen to develop their skills and progress within the business.

Desirable, but not essential:

• ECS Gold Card.
• 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification.
• Experience carrying out domestic and commercial EICRs.

• Salary of up to £50,000, depending on experience, for a permanent PAYE position.
