Job summary

ATALIAN SERVEST is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join our Technical Services mobile team on a Major Retail contract, with opportunities to support other Commercial and Residential contracts.

You will undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works, monitor contractors, ensure equipment and surroundings meet company standards, and contribute to contract profitability while delivering safe, on-time, quality service.

Qualifications

• Craft qualification in electrical installation (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent).
• Level 3 Electrical Installation Engineering and AM2.
• In-date 18th Edition wiring regulations (2381-18).

Responsibilities

• Undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works within set timeframes.
• Monitor contractors and workmanship to meet standards.
• Ensure equipment and area conform to company standards.
• Support integrated service delivery and safety compliance.
• Provide callout response on a rota basis (approx. 1 in 4 weeks).

About The Role

Working in our Technical Services mobile team on a Major Retail contract with opportunities to support other Commercial and Residential contracts in our continually expanding division.

Key Responsibilities

• To undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that customer expectations are met.
• Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
• To ensure equipment and surrounding area conform to agreed company standards.
• To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
• Working in a safe manner at all times, complying with current Health & Safety legislation.
• The successful candidate must provide a significant contribution to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability and must, therefore, play its part in the overall delivery of service.
• The candidate will support the implementation of an integrated approach for the delivery of all contracted services, ensuring that all works are delivered safely on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota, on average 1 in 4 weeks.

Hiring Criteria

• Previous experience working within Facilities Management would be ideal.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Able to carry out basic IT tasks on handheld devices.

Essential Qualifications

• A craft qualification such as a recognised electrical apprenticeship such as or equivalent to City & Guilds 2350 NVQ.
• Level 3 Electrical Installation Engineering + AM2.
• The current wiring regulations qualification such as or equal to City & Guilds 2381-18 Level 3 Award (18th Edition) Valid and in date Grade card/CSCS Card or equivalent qualification.

Desirable Qualifications

• An Inspection & Testing qualification such as or equal to City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations.
