Job summary

Optima Site Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Installation Electrician to join our commercial energy technology team. You will install and commission 3-phase metering and energy control systems at commercial sites nationwide, with regular travel and occasional overnight stays.

A qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent) with experience in commercial installations and 3-phase systems is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds (or equivalent).
• Experience on commercial electrical installations.
• Experience with 3-phase electrical systems.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Install 3-phase metering and energy control systems at commercial premises.
• Carry out installation, commissioning and testing of equipment.
• Support on-site energy monitoring and analysis with technical teams.
• Travel to customer sites across the UK, including overnight stays.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools and stock levels.
• Ensure all work meets current electrical regulations and safety standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service while representing the business professionally.

The Role

As an Installation Electrician, you will be responsible for installing and commissioning 3-phase metering and energy control systems at commercial customer sites nationwide.
