Job summary

Optima Site Solutions Ltd is seeking an Installation Electrician to install and commission 3-phase metering and energy control systems at commercial sites nationwide. The role involves regular travel and overnight stays, working with internal technical teams to deliver high-quality installations.

The ideal candidate is a qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent) with experience in commercial electrical installations, 3-phase systems, a full UK driving licence, and

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Experience working on commercial electrical installations.
• Experience with 3-phase electrical systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willing to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Install 3-phase metering and energy control systems at commercial premises.
• Carry out installation, commissioning and testing of equipment.
• Support technical teams with on-site energy monitoring and analysis.
• Travel to customer sites across the UK, including regular overnight stays.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools and stock levels.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current electrical regulations.
• Deliver excellent customer service while representing the business professionally.
