Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting for a fully qualified Electrician to join a growing team working across Central London and Kent. The role covers installation, maintenance and testing on commercial sites.

We are seeking candidates with 18th Edition and 2391 qualifications, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work across a variety of commercial premises. A long-term, full-time position with opportunities for overtime is available.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician with commercial experience.
• Experience with electrical installation and maintenance in commercial buildings.
• Knowledge of testing and fault-finding on electrical systems.
• Hold a Full UK Driving Licence and live within commutable distance of Kent.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, we are looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Electrician to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Essential Requirements

• Be a fully qualified Electrician
• Hold the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
• Hold the 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification
• Have experience carrying out electrical installation and maintenance works within commercial buildings
• Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
• Live within a commutable distance of Kent

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical installation, planned maintenance and reactive maintenance works within commercial buildings across London and Kent.

Typical sites may include:

• Office buildings
• Commercial premises
• Retail units
• Schools and educational facilities
• Healthcare environments
• Industrial and mixed-use properties

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial electrical installations.
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Reactive electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Inspection and testing of electrical systems.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.Emergency lighting testing and maintenance.
• Distribution board and consumer unit works.
• Completing electrical certification and compliance documentation.
• Ensuring all works comply with current regulations and Health & Safety standards.
• Representing the business professionally whilst on client sites.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday.
• Full-time permanent role.
• Standard day shifts.
• Occasional evening and weekend work as required.
• Overtime paid for all approved out-of-hours and weekend works.
