Job summary

W P RECRUITMENT HR LTD is seeking an experienced Electrician for a permanent, full-time role in Ryde on the Isle of Wight. You will undertake electrical maintenance on both residential and commercial premises, including installation condition reports, emergency light testing, fire alarm testing, installations and certification, fault finding and repairs.

Applicants must have a Level 3 Electrical qualification, 18th edition, and a minimum of 5 years in property maintenance/construction.

• Knowledge of RAMS and health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Undertake electrical maintenance on residential and commercial premises.

• Maintain the job management system and ensure regulatory compliance.

Electrician

Industry: Property Maintenance

Location: Ryde, Isle of Wight

Hours: 40 hours per week

Days: Monday - Friday

Duration: Permanent

Duties:

Undertake electrical maintenance on both residential and commercial premises including:

electrical installation condition reports, emergency light testing, fire alarm testing, installations and certification, fault finding and repairs.

Identify materials and provide quotations for remedial works,

Undertake risk assessments and method statements where required,

Ensure adherence to electrical, building and health and safety regulations,

Update and maintain job management system.

Experience:

Must have minimum 5 years experience of working within property maintenance/ construction environment and Level 3 Electrical qualification plus 18th edition.

2391 (test and inspect) an advantage.

Must have good level of technical knowledge of working methods, practices, RAMS and regulations.

Must be proficient in MS Office and have the ability to learn new systems.

Must have a full driver's license.

Salary: £43056 per annum (PAYE) plus benefits package
