Job summary

Romans Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking multiple qualified JIB Electricians to join our expanding London-based projects.

You will work across commercial, educational, healthcare, and high-end residential environments, installing, testing, and commissioning electrical systems in line with BS7671.

Qualifications

• Valid JIB Gold Card.
• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent recognised qualification).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
• Proven experience on commercial and/or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of current electrical standards and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
• Installation, testing, inspection, and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Working from technical drawings and specifications.
• Containment installation including tray, trunking, conduit, and cable basket.
• Wiring and terminating electrical equipment, lighting, power, and control systems.
• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults when required.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Working collaboratively with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades.
• Maintaining a professional manner in occupied buildings and high-end client environments.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.

About the Role

We are currently seeking multiple qualified JIB Electricians to join our growing team, working across a variety of prestigious projects throughout London and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced electricians looking to work with high-profile clients across a diverse range of sectors, including:

• Commercial properties
• Educational facilities
• Healthcare environments and hospitals
• Entertainment venues and theatres
• High-end residential and mixed-use developments
• Public sector buildings

Successful candidates will join established site teams and play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical installations while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship, safety, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Desirable

• Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent).
• IPAF and/or PASMA certification.
• ECS Health & Safety qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own transport.
