Due to our ever-increasing workload following the successful delivery of projects, IMS Group Ltd are seeking qualified electricians to join our team and help support the continued progression & growth of the company.

The works we facilitate are varied, however mainly within the commercial sector for a wide range of contractors. We also have several industrial clients and are increasing our client base year on year.

Applicants with a domestic background will also be considered, providing they can show they have the necessary drive and willingness to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment.

The ability to test your own work, correctly complete installation and minor works certification along with risk assessments and customer satisfaction online documentation is an absolute must for this role.

The individual must be customer facing, take pride in their work, have good problem-solving and installation skills and be willing to become a key contributor to providing the level of service and customer satisfaction our clients have come to expect.

Qualifications Required:

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• 2391 or 2394 Would be a distinct advantage
• Full Clean Driving Licence

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with relevant codes and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project completion.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to electrical work.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
