Job summary

Sovereign Network Group (SNG)–Oxford area: A full-time Electrician role responsible for routine testing and repairs in customers’ homes. You will work to IEE wiring regulations, with a van and fuel card supplied for travel within the area.

The ideal candidate holds NVQ level 3 (or equivalent), 18th Edition (BS7671), and City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Test/Inspect, plus a valid driving licence. DBS check will be completed for the successful applicant.

Qualifications

• Experience within a similar role in residential/housing is ideal.
• Candidates must hold a full and current driving licence.
• Basic DBS check will be undertaken for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine testing of electrical services equipment and repairs in customers' homes.
• Undertake responsive repairs and works within planned teams per work schedules and IEE regulations.
• Record and report on status of electrical services equipment via inspection sheets and installation certificates.
• Estimate, requisition and procure materials to ensure satisfactory repairs per Health & Safety regulations.
• Travel within the Oxford area; a van and fuel card are provided for business travel.
