Job description

Job Title: Electrician

Pay: GBP24 an hour

Temp to Perm

Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 17:00

Location: Middlesbrough

Main Duties Include

1. Install, maintain, and repair street lighting, including wiring, fixtures, and feeder pillars.
2. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in street lighting.
3. Hold AM2 qualification and 2391, as the role requires you to be our NICEIC Supervisor.
4. Schedule inspections and test and inspect to BS7671 standards.
5. Operate mobile elevated work platforms to access lighting equipment at heights.
6. Respond to emergency lighting issues, restoring service promptly to minimize disruption.
7. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including materials used.
8. Test and inspect electrical systems in compliance with BS 7671, including tasks like SWA jointing and installing cutouts.
9. Participate in emergency call-out rota.
