Job summary

Boden Group is seeking a qualified Electrician for a varied maintenance role in Greater Manchester. You will maintain essential electrical systems, perform PPM, reactive repairs, and installations in a fast-paced Hard FM environment.

The role focuses on fault-finding, safe operation, and collaboration with engineering teams. On-call duties and career development opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations required.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations required.
• AM2 qualification required.
• Previous electrical maintenance experience required.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of electrical safety and compliance.
• Ability to prioritise planned vs reactive work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and electrical installations.
• Diagnose and repair faults across electrical plant, equipment and building services.
• Maintain electrical power, lighting, distribution equipment and emergency lighting systems.
• Work on critical electrical infrastructure including UPS, generators and standby systems.
• Complete small works, testing, certification and commissioning where required.
• Carry out statutory inspections and testing, ensuring documentation is maintained.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, contractors and wider FM teams.
• Follow safe systems of work, permits and Health & Safety procedures.
• Participate in on-call rota and support emergency maintenance when required.

AM2 qualification

Previous experience in electrical maintenance

The Role As The Electrician, You'll
