Job summary

Quartzelec Ltd is recruiting an experienced Electrician to join our North West England team. You will carry out electrical installation, maintenance, testing and fault-finding across customer sites, ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with regulations.

We value professionals who work safely, independently or as part of a team, and who can liaise with customers and colleagues. A recognised electrical qualification and 18th Edition are preferred, with driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Required but not essential).
• DNO authorisations (Required but not essential).
• Experience as an electrician with fault-finding skills.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, testing and fault-finding activities.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently and safely.
• Be proficient in installing containment systems such as Trunking, Tray and Ladder.
• Complete planned and reactive electrical works to a high standard.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current electrical regulations and company procedures.
• Complete relevant documentation, inspection records and job reports.
• Work safely on customer and operational sites, following all required health and safety procedures.
• Liaise professionally with colleagues, customers, contractors and other site personnel.
• Support the wider team with electrical and operational requirements as required.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team, working across the North West of England.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician who takes pride in delivering high-quality electrical work and is looking to develop their career within a busy and growing organisation.

Experience within the utilities sector would be advantageous, but it is not essential. We are also keen to hear from electricians with experience in other relevant environments who have strong technical skills, a professional approach and a commitment to working safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A professional and reliable approach to work.
• A full UK driving licence.
