Paxton Personnel Ltd is partnering with an established contractor to recruit an experienced Electrician for a varied role across domestic and commercial projects in the Inverness area.

You will perform electrical installation, testing and maintenance to high standards, reading drawings and specifications, and ensuring work is completed safely and on time. A full UK-driving licence is essential, 18th Edition qualification and 2+ years' post-qualification experience are required.

Formación

• Qualified electrician with 18th Edition qualification.
• Post-qualification experience of 2+ years preferred.
• Experience in domestic and/or commercial installations.
• Ability to read drawings and technical information.
• Strong safety awareness and high workmanship standards.

I’m currently working with an established and growing contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Electrician to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for an electrician looking for variety, with projects ranging from domestic builds through to larger commercial developments.

The Role

You’ll work across a variety of projects, carrying out electrical installation, testing and maintenance work to a high standard.

Responsibilities will include:

• Electrical installation across domestic and commercial projects

• Installing wiring, containment, lighting, power and associated electrical systems

• Reading and working from electrical drawings and specifications

• Carrying out testing, inspection and fault finding

• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required standards

• Working closely with site managers, other trades and subcontractors

• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism

• Ensuring projects are completed on time and to specification

About You

We’re looking for a qualified electrician who has:

• 18th Edition qualified

• Ideally 2+ years’ post-qualification experience

• Previous experience within construction or building projects

• Experience working on domestic and/or commercial installations

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, regulations and safe working practices

• Ability to read drawings and technical information

• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

• Good communication skills and a professional approach

• Full UK driving licence is essential
