Aureos is recruiting an Approved Electrician for our Infrastructure Solutions team based at the Isle of Wight depot. You will perform electrical installation, maintenance and testing across commercial and industrial sites to keep operations safe and efficient.

Role emphasizes fault-finding, certification, and supporting site teams while adhering to Aureos safety standards and customer requirements. On-site work with opportunity to mentor trainees.

Qualifications

• Completion of a registered electrical apprenticeship or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance or equivalent.
• Achievement Measurement 2 (AM2).
• City & Guilds 2382-18 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection, Testing and Certification).
• ECS Card.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and testing in line with BS7671 and Aureos policies and procedures.
• Set out jobs from drawings and specifications, requisition materials, and ensure all works are completed to the highest standard.
• Commission and test electrical systems and issue relevant certification.
• Fault-find and carry out remedial works.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers where required.
• Support and mentor apprentices or trainees as part of your daily role.
