Job summary

Aureos is hiring multiple Wireman/Fitters for our Inverness operations. You will maintain, install, and repair high-voltage infrastructure for DNOs, IDNOs and private clients.

The role involves interpreting drawings, coordinating with engineers and clients, and joining an on-site HV team across projects in Inverness. We value candidates with UK DNO experience, NVQ3 in electrical installation, and a strong background in HV systems.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation
  • Experience in construction, repair and operation of HV equipment up to 132kV
  • UK or overseas DNO experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain HV equipment and switchgear up to 132kV
  • Work on transformers, protection panels, SCADA/telecontrol systems
  • Carry out planned and emergency maintenance on DNO networks
  • Interpret drawings and set out installation work
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers and clients
  • Participate in out-of-hours standby duties
  • Travel as required across sites in the Inverness region
