Job summary

Hydro International, a CRH Company, Nottingham, is seeking an Electrician to install, commission and test water filtration systems on sewage sites. You will carry out site inspections and fault finding, compiling survey reports for quotation purposes.

Regular travel is required; you may work away from home and in workshops across the country. Essential qualifications include NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations, 18th Edition, JIB Gold Card, and C&G 2391 (inspection & testing).

Qualifications

Current driving license is essential.
NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations is required.
18th Edition wiring regulations knowledge is essential.
C&G 2391 (inspection & testing) qualification preferred or required.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
Carry out site inspections and fault finding; compile survey reports for quotations.
Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile equipment; work at heights and in confined spaces.
Be prepared to travel/overnight stays and occasionally work in workshops across the country.
Work as part of a team with other staff and trades.

About the Job

You will be Installing, commissioning, setting up and testing water filtration systems on sewage sites
You will carry out site inspections and fault finding and compile survey reports for quotation purposes
You will be required to access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment
You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces and outside on sites connected with Wastewater (sewage)
You will be required to work away from home on a regular basis, requiring overnight stays
You may also be required to work in some of our workshops across the country on occasion
You will be working as a team with other staff and trades within the business
