Job summary

Build Recruitment are sourcing an experienced Electrician to join a social housing maintenance team in Dundee and surrounding areas. You will perform electrical maintenance and installation tasks, ensuring safety and compliance across properties and carrying out EICRs and testing.

The role covers domestic maintenance within social housing, with a 40-hour week and a company van provided. Applicants should have 18th Edition, 2391 and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician with 18th Edition and 2391 required.
• Experience in domestic maintenance within social housing preferred.
• Full UK driving licence and reliable professional approach.

Responsibilities

• EICRs and electrical testing and inspection.
• Remedial and repair works as required.
• Bathroom and kitchen rewiring/wiring tasks.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, looking for an experienced Electrician to join their social housing maintenance team, covering Dundee and the surrounding areas.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified electrician with experience in domestic maintenance and social housing environments.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out a range of electrical maintenance and installation works, including:

• EICRs and electrical testing
• Remedial and repair works
• Bathroom and kitchen rewiring/wiring
• General electrical maintenance within social housing properties
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required standards

Requirements

• Fully qualified Electrician
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification - essential
• Previous experience in domestic maintenance/social housing preferred
• Good knowledge of electrical testing, inspection and remedial works
• Full UK driving licence
• Professional and reliable approach to work
