Job summary

Hydro International is seeking an Electrician to install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites across the UK. The role requires site inspections, fault finding, and compiling survey reports for quotations.

You will access technical instructions via mobile equipment and work at heights, in confined spaces, and away from home with overnight stays. Some workshop work across the country may be required.

Qualifications

• Current Valid Driving License.
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations.
• 18th Edition.
• JIB Gold Card.
• C&G 2391 (inspection & testing).

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
• Carry out site inspections and fault finding; compile survey reports for quotation purposes.
• Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment.
• Work at heights, in confined spaces and outside on wastewater sites.
• Occasionally work in workshops across the country.
• Collaborate as part of a team with other staff and trades.

The Electrician will be working within Hydro International's UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team. We support water utility companies working on sewage sites across the United Kingdom.

About the Job

• You will be Installing, commissioning, setting up and testing water filtration systems on sewage sites
• You will carry out site inspections and fault finding and compile survey reports for quotation purposes
• You will be required to access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment
• You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces and outside on sites connected with Wastewater (sewage)
• You will be required to work away from home on a regular basis, requiring overnight stays.
• You may also be required to work in some of our workshops across the country on occasion
• You will be working as a team with other staff and trades within the business
