Serco Group plc is seeking an Electrician to deliver electrical repairs, maintenance, testing and certification across residential properties under our AASC contract. You will ensure safe, compliant, well‑maintained accommodation while collaborating with housing teams and stakeholders to deliver trusted services that make a positive community impact.

Ideal candidates hold City and Guilds Electrical Installation Level 3, 18th Edition, and Inspection & Testing qualifications, with a full UK

Qualifications

• Qualified to City and Guilds Electrical Installation Level 3 (2365, 2330 or equivalent).
• Holds City and Guilds 2382 18th Edition and City and Guilds 2391/52 Inspection and Testing qualifications.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
• BPSS clearance may be required for the role.

Responsabilités

• Carry out reactive and remedial electrical works across domestic properties, including fault finding, repairs and maintenance.
• Inspect, test and certify electrical installations, completing all required documentation and compliance certification.
• Service and maintain electrical systems including power, lighting, fire alarm systems, emergency lighting and heating systems.
• Provide technical advice and support to maintenance colleagues and help resolve complex electrical issues.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, compliantly and within agreed service levels and performance targets.
• Work collaboratively with housing teams, stakeholders and customers to deliver quality outcomes and excellent service.

As an Electrician in our Asylum Accommodation and Support Services Contract (AASC) team, you'll carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, testing and certification across a portfolio of residential properties. Your expertise will help ensure safe, compliant and well-maintained accommodation for the people who rely on our services. You'll help provide safe living environments, support high operational standards, and work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver trusted services that help impact a better future. What you'll do as a Electrician

Vetting and checks

This role requires BPSS clearance, which involves identity verification, employment history, and criminal record checks to meet government security standards. An Occupational Health Questionnaire will also be required to ensure we can offer appropriate support for your wellbeing and performance.
