Niyaa People Ltd is seeking an Electrician to cover Swindon and Oxfordshire for planned electrical works in social housing properties. The role includes kitchen/bathroom upgrades, rewires and EICRs, with a company van and testing equipment provided.

The ideal candidate holds a Level 3 electrical qualification and ideally a 2391. Training may be funded for those working toward qualification; the company supports progression into management and offers long-term contracts.

Electrician role covering Swindon and Oxfordshire, paying up to £40,000 per year, with a company van, fuel card and electrical testing equipment.

I’m working with an established property maintenance contractor looking to recruit one, potentially two, permanent electricians due to an increase in work orders across its social housing contracts.

The role involves planned electrical works across void and tenanted social housing properties, including kitchen and bathroom upgrades, rewires, EICRs, consumer unit upgrades and fault finding. There is no responsive maintenance.

As an Electrician, you will be:

• Carrying out electrical installations and planned works in domestic properties.
• Completing EICRs, electrical testing and fault finding.
• Upgrading consumer units and completing rewires.
• Supporting kitchen and bathroom refurbishment projects.
• Working across scheduled jobs, with work allocated in advance.

Qualifications:

• A fully qualified Level 3 electrical qualification.
• 2391 inspection and testing qualification — highly desirable.
• Experience working in domestic properties, ideally within social housing.
• The ability to work independently and complete work to current regulations.

• Salary of up to £40,000.

The majority of work is across Swindon and Oxfordshire, so locally based candidates are ideal. Interviews are usually held face-to-face at the Cirencester office, with one stage for in-person interviews.
