Swindon - applicants must live in Swindon or close by
Full-time, permanent employed position
There's a lot to be said for finishing a job, looking back at your work and knowing you've done it properly. For this electrical contractor, that pride in the job has been at the heart of the business since 1996.
Now a team of 16, they're looking for an experienced Electrician who shares that approach. Someone hardworking, dependable and happy to get stuck into varied electrical work, with the knowledge to test an installation properly and explain their findings clearly.
Based in Swindon, the company works across the South West and along the M4 corridor. Its customers include schools, hotels, local authorities and industrial businesses, giving an Electrician the opportunity to work in different environments and put a broad range of skills to use.
As an Electrician, you'll carry out electrical installation, maintenance and fault-finding, alongside inspection and testing work, including Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs). You'll be trusted to work safely, maintain good standards and deal professionally with customers.
If you've also looked after a small team, that would be welcome. There's scope to help organise work and support colleagues alongside your own practical duties.
Small-team supervisory experience would be an advantage, but it isn't essential.
This Electrician position would suit someone who enjoys the trade, takes responsibility for their work and wants a permanent employed role within an established local business.
