Job summary

Pure Talent Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrician to install, maintain and repair electrical systems on large-scale construction projects. You will work to technical drawings and safety standards, with a focus on containment systems, cable installations, terminations and panel wiring.

The role covers inspections, testing and commissioning while ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Experience on large-scale construction or industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with drawings, regulations and safety standards.
• Work on containment systems, cable installations, terminations, and panel wiring.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors and other trades.
• Maintain documentation of work and report issues to management.

Working hours : Monday – Thursday 7am – 6pm & Friday 6am - 1pm (weekly pay)

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with technical drawings, regulations, and safety standards.
• Work on containment systems, cable installations, terminations, and panel wiring.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and provide effective solutions.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and other trades.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and report any issues to management.

Qualifications & Experience

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• JIB Gold Card (preferred).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• C&G 2391 or equivalent qualification in Testing & Inspection (desirable).
• Experience working on large-scale construction or industrial projects, ideally within the nuclear or energy sector.
• Knowledge of working under stringent safety regulations and procedures.
