Job summary

Fantastic opportunity for a professional Electrician to work with one of the UK's leading housing associations, covering Banbury and surrounding region. The role involves domestic repairs in housing association properties, including day‑to‑day and reactive work, second fix, rewires, sockets, fans, showers, fuse boards and EICR testing.

Van and tools are provided; start ASAP. Requires 18th Edition, Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds, 2391 eligibility, driving licence and a clear DBS check.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the 18th Edition electrical code is required.
• Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds in electrical installations is required.
• Eligible for 2391 testing and inspecting.
• AM2 is ideal but not essential.
• Full manual UK driving licence is required.
• Clear DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day‑to‑day and reactive electrical repairs in domestic housing properties.
• Perform second‑fix electrical repairs and rewires.
• Carry out socket changes, fan wiring and wiring showers.
• Replace fuse boards and conduct EICR testing.

Fantastic opportunity for a professional Electrician to work with one of the UKs leading and highly reputable housing associations covering the Banbury and surrounding region.

My client, an award‑winning housing association, is looking for an experienced and professional domestic electrician to assist with day‑to‑day and reactive repairs in domestic housing association properties covering Banbury and the wider region.

Work will range from second‑fix electrical repairs and rewires, socket changes, fan wiring, wiring showers, fuse board changes and carrying out EICR testing.

Van and tools provided.

Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Banbury and surrounding
• Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:30
• Duration: Temporary to permanent
• Pay Rate: £23–£24 CIS or Umbrella (dependent on qualifications and experience)
