Gleneagles is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Technical Services team at Auchterarder. The role involves electrical maintenance, repair and installation across the luxury hotel estate, with a focus on safety and compliance and a 4-week rota covering day and backshift, including weekends.

You will work with City & Guilds/SVQ Level 3, 18th Edition and (preferably) IPAF licence, delivering high standards for our guests and hotel operations.

Qualifikationen

• City & Guilds, SVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Electrical Qualification.
• Experience in diagnostics and electrical repair.
• IPAF licence preferred.
• Strong focus on safety and compliance.

Aufgaben

• Undertake electrical maintenance, repair and installation works (ELV included).
• Respond quickly to priority tasks; diagnose faults and perform first-time fixes.
• Ensure all work complies with risk assessments, safety legislation and company policies.
• Complete risk assessments and time sheets accurately; suggest improvements where needed.
• Maintain a clean, compliant workshop and safe working environment.
• Identify and report potential system upgrades and participate in solution development.
• Interact with guests professionally to exceed expectations and uphold Gleneagles standards.

We are currently seeking an experienced, skilled, and self-motivated Electrician to join our Technical Services division.

The on target earning potential for this role is £40,280 / per annum - comprising a base salary of £35,280, plus a qualified estimate of £5,000 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards. In this role you will work a 4 week rota covering day and backshift, including one weekend.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:

• Undertaking electrical maintenance, repair and installation works, including ELV, appreciating the need for swift response to minimise the impact on our business
• Responding quickly to priority tasks, undertaking fault diagnosis and repair, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard, you ensure a first-time fix!
• Ensuring that all work carried our complies with the relevant risk assessments, safety legislation, our policies and procedures, and all applicable regulations/bylaws, approved Codes of Practice and best practice guidelines
• Completing essential documentation such as risk assessments, time sheets, accurately and on time, recommending any changes to risk assessments within your specific field of knowledge
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and compliant workshop, free from hazards at all times
• Proactively identifying and reporting any potential systems within your sphere of expertise which would benefit from upgrading, and participating in the development of solutions
• Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

The kind of person we're looking for:

• Your trade qualifications include City & Guilds, SVQ Level 3 or equivalent and you also hold an 18th Edition Electrical Qualification
• You have experience in diagnostics and electrical repair, conducting routine maintenance and building management systems
• Ideally, you also have an IPAF licence and experience in testing commercial electrical systems
• Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
• You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
• A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
