Fusion People Ltd seeks a qualified Electrician to join a busy Hampshire maintenance team. You will repair, install and refurbish in domestic properties, diagnose faults and deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service.

Role covers fault finding, inspections, EICRs, and installing showers/heating controls. You will work Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, live in or near Hampshire, and hold a full UK driving licence.

• Full qualifications as an Electrician; AM2 and City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent.
• Experience carrying out domestic electrical installations.
• Experience of inspection and testing in line with British Standards and certification.
• Good understanding of electrical regulations and health and safety.

Responsabilidades

• Fault finding on single and three-phase installations.
• Testing and inspection including PAT.
• Complete EICRs and certificates.
• Replace/install showers and heating controls.
• Wiring domestic heating systems and immersion heaters.
• General electrical installation work across properties.
• Report urgent repairs and safety defects to supervisor.
• Keep accurate daily records; time and work completed on handheld device.
• Maintain van stock for one-visit fixes.
• Work to wiring regulations (Part P) and best practices.
• Participate in regional out-of-hours standby rota.

We are looking for a qualified Electrician to join a busy maintenance team in Hampshire. You will carry out repairs, installations and refurbishment work in domestic properties, diagnosing faults and delivering a high-quality, customer-focused service.

Location: Hampshire ( must live in or very close to Hampshire)

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £42,082

Shifts: Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm

What you will be doing

• Fault finding on single and three phase installations


• Testing and inspection, including portable appliance testing


• Completing electrical installation certificates, minor works certificates and electrical installation condition reports (EICRs)


• Replacing and installing showers


• Wiring domestic heating controls


• Replacing immersion elements, including draining down the cylinder


• Replacing and installing electric heating


• General electrical installation work


• Reporting any urgent repairs or health and safety defects to your supervisor


• Keeping accurate daily records of work done and time taken, using a handheld device


• Keeping an adequate van stock so most minor repairs can be completed in one visit


• Working to current wiring regulations (including Part P) and good industry practice


• Taking part in the regional out-of-hours standby rota

About you

• Full qualifications as an Electrician, with an AM2 (or equivalent) and a City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent)


• Demonstrable experience carrying out domestic electrical installations


• Experience of inspection and testing in line with British Standards, completing all certification and records accurately


• A good understanding of electrical regulations and health and safety, so all work is safe and compliant


• Strong installation and problem-solving skills, and pride in delivering a high-quality service


• A customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills, able to build good relationships with customers (including elderly or vulnerable people) and colleagues


• The confidence to work independently and as part of a wider team, liaising with colleagues so works are completed and ongoing requirements are logged properly


• Confidence using a smartphone or handheld device for email, work scheduling, documents and photos


• A flexible approach to work, including the out-of-hours standby rota


• The willingness and ability to meet face fit requirements


• A full UK manual driving licenceC&G 2330 and 2382 (or equivalent) are also expected, as per the job description.
