Job summary

Aspire Housing is seeking a reliable Electrician to join our electrical team in Newcastle-under-Lyme. This full-time, permanent role offers £41,502.52 per year for a 39-hour week.

Responsibilities include repairs and maintenance, fault finding, installing circuits, testing, and producing EICR/EIC/MWC documentation, all while maintaining safety standards and collaborating with other trades. Applicants should have domestic electrical experience (social housing preferred), a full UK driving

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic electrical work, social housing preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Aspire Housing is seeking a reliable and experienced Electrician to join the electrical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out repairs and maintenance.
• Fault finding and remedial works.
• Install new circuits followed by relevant tests.
• Consumer unit upgrades followed by relevant tests
• Ensure compliance with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Produce the relevant technical documentation. (EICR`s, EIC and MWC)
• Collaborate with other trades and maintain safety standards

Requirements:

• Experience in domestic electrical work (social housing preferred)
• Competent in all aspects of Domestic electrical works
• Full UK driving licence
• Positive, flexible, team-oriented attitude
• Able to prioritise workload
• Able to assist in companies out of hours service
• Good communication skills
• Able to work as a team
