LJ Recruitment is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join a well-established food manufacturing business in Norfolk. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining production equipment, reducing downtime, and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently.

You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and work with PLCs and control systems to keep production running smoothly.

Competenze

• Experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good mechanical maintenance knowledge.
• Experience with PLCs, automation and industrial control systems.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and preventative maintenance.
• Relevant electrical or engineering qualifications.

Mansioni

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, motors, drives, sensors and control systems.
• Maintain and improve production machinery and equipment.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety and engineering standards.
