Job summary

LJ Recruitment is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join a Norfolk-based food manufacturing operation. This hands-on role involves maintaining production equipment, minimising downtime and ensuring machinery runs safely and efficiently.

You will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, troubleshoot PLCs and control systems, and continuously improve equipment reliability in a busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within manufacturing.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good mechanical maintenance knowledge.
• Experience with PLCs, automation and industrial control systems.

This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in maintaining production equipment, minimising downtime and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently.

Food manufacturing experience would be advantageous, but strong maintenance experience from other manufacturing sectors will also be considered.
