Job summary

Winsearch is seeking a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer (Electrically Biased) to support a fast-moving FMCG site in the Harrogate area. You will fault-find on PLC-controlled machinery, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and help drive OEE improvements on high-speed lines.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £56,650 with a bonus, 12-hour shifts on a 6-6 rotation, and strong investment in engineering development.

Qualifications

• Electrical bias with multi-skilled maintenance experience in FMCG environments.
• Experience working on fast-paced manufacturing lines and automation equipment.
• Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding on PLC-controlled, automated production machinery.
• Planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnosing electrical faults on motors, drives, inverters, sensors and control panels.
• Supporting continuous improvement activities and root cause analysis.
• Working closely with production to maximise line efficiency.
