Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Technician for a permanent role in Cambridge/Huntingdon. The role offers 37 hours per week with a salary of £25,000–£27,000 per year, plus Local Government Pension Scheme and 27 days holiday.

You will maintain and repair electrical installation workshop equipment across Cambridge and Huntingdon, support practical delivery with setups and teaching aids, and manage stock and inventory records.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification / NVQ (or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience in an Electrical Installations environment (or relevant trade experience).
• Current Health & Safety knowledge within the electrical industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and prepare electrical installation workshop equipment across Cambridge & Huntingdon.
• Support practical delivery: set-ups, demonstrations, teaching aids, wiring rigs and task boards.
• 37 hours per week, full year; occasional weekend open days/evenings as required.
• Manage stock and inventory records.
