Venn Group is seeking an Electrical Installations Technician to support practical electrical training within a busy educational environment in Cambridge and Huntingdon. Qualifications

• Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
• Experience in electrical installation, maintenance or repair.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to build positive working relationships with staff and learners.

Responsibilities

• Prepare workshops, tools, equipment and materials for practical teaching sessions.
• Carry out basic maintenance and repairs to electrical training equipment.
• Support practical demonstrations, assessments and workshop activities.
• Ensure workshops are safe, organised and compliant with Health & Safety requirements.
• Assist with the development of practical learning resources and activities.
• Work closely with teaching staff to support the delivery of electrical installation programmes.
