Job summary

RecruitedUK seeks an experienced Electrician or Engineer to join a leading UK training provider as a Workshop Technician. Based at the state‑of‑the‑art training centre in Chatham, you will mentor apprentices, keep the workshop well organised and safe, and assist trainers in delivering high‑quality learning experiences.

You will ensure equipment and resources are prepared to a high standard, enabling hands‑on guidance in a professional learning environment.

Qualifications

• Electrical or Engineering NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) is required.
• Proven industry/occupational experience is expected.
• Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.
• Good IT skills are required.
• Full UK driving licence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical support and guidance to apprentices during training sessions.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, organised, and effective workshop environment.
• Support trainers in delivering high‑quality, engaging learning experiences.
• Ensure equipment and resources are prepared and maintained to a high standard.
