Job summary

Echo Personnel Limited in Corby is recruiting an experienced Wireman to join our client’s growing team. You will install, wire and assemble electrical systems and control panels, reading technical drawings and wiring schematics, and using a range of hand and power tools.

This role offers £13.00–£14.00 per hour, with early finish every Friday, overtime opportunities after training, and a long-term permanent opportunity in a friendly, safety‑conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Wireman or in an electrical wiring role.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Installing, wiring and assembling electrical systems and control panels.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and wiring schematics.
• Using a variety of hand and power tools to complete electrical assemblies.
• Testing, inspecting and fault‑finding electrical wiring where required.
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
