Job summary

Orion Electrotech Ltd is seeking a Panel Wireperson to join their production team. You will assemble copperwork, cabling and electrical components, wire electrical panels and build control panels, reading drawings to ensure accurate terminations.

The role offers a 4.5-day week, overtime, and flexible start times with early finish on Fridays. Salary is £15-£20 per hour DOE, with a structured progression path and wide range of benefits including private medical care and pension.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in electrical assembly or panel wiring.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings.
• Strong crimping, wiring and cable preparation skills.
• Minimum Level 2 Electrical Diploma (or equivalent).
• Competent in testing, installation and on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of copperwork, cabling and electrical components.
• Electrical panel wiring and general control panel build.
• Cabinet/box building and mounting plate assembly.
• Direct-to-panel wiring, point-to-point connections and terminations.
• Reading and working from electrical drawings and schematics.
• Assisting in basic testing and inspection.
• Installation and on-site assembly of equipment.
