Job summary

Bridgewater Resources UK in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Manager to lead and develop the internal sales team within an ambitious electrical wholesale business. You will drive sales, profitability and customer growth, while working closely with external sales and purchasing to deliver a reliable service.

The role offers a starting salary of £45,000-£50,000 with a monthly and annual bonus scheme, and is ideal for a proactive leader who knows the electrical contracting market

Responsibilities

• Leading, motivating and developing the internal sales team.
• Driving sales, gross profit and margin.
• Developing existing customer accounts (predominantly contractors) and identifying new opportunities.
• Ensuring quotes are followed up and converted into orders.
• Working closely with the external sales team to grow customer accounts.
• Building strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Handling and resolving customer issues.
• Monitoring team performance against targets and KPIs.
• Coaching the team to improve sales skills, product knowledge and customer service.
• Making sure enquiries, quotations and orders are dealt with quickly and accurately.
• Working closely with purchasing, warehouse and operations to deliver a reliable service.
