Job summary

KM Recruitment is recruiting for an Electrical Tutor / Assessor to deliver a Level 3 Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship across Derbyshire and Nottingham, covering practical and theoretical components with both site and classroom delivery.

You will contribute to curriculum design, develop assessments and learning resources, and conduct learner visits while maintaining thorough progress records and supporting learners to achieve their goals. This is a full-time role with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Electrical Apprenticeships up to Level 3.
• Must hold recognised Teaching & Assessor Awards (AET, PTLLS, TAQA, CAVA, A1 or D Units).
• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation/Maintenance; C&G 2382 18th edition or equivalent.
• Strong electrical competency and excellent communication; able to inspire learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a Level 3 Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship covering both practical and theoretical competencies.
• Contribute to curriculum design and development; create learning tasks, assessments and resources.
• Carry out on-site learner visits in their place of work and in classroom settings.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to learner needs.

This is great opportunity to join an established training provider, to support the growth and development of their brand-new, Electrical Engineering department.

Duties

• Deliver a Level 3 Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship, covering both practical and theoretical competencies (one to one and group delivery).
• Contribute to curriculum design and development, supporting the creation of practical tasks, assessments and learning resources.
• Carry out on site visits, to assess learners within their place of work, in addition to classroom-based training.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

Essential Criteria

• Experience in a similar role, delivering Electrical Apprenticeships, up to Level 3.
• Must hold a recognised Teaching and Assessor Awards (AET, PTLLS etc) and (TAQA, CAVA, A1 or D Units)
• Must hold the following qualifications:
  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation/Maintenance
  • C&G 2382 18th edition or equivalent.
• Strong competency, as an Electrician.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
