Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Electrical Tutor/Assessor to deliver a Level 3 Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship across two sites in Derbyshire and Nottingham, with flexibility to cover both locations.

The role requires experience delivering Electrical Apprenticeships up to Level 3, and holding recognised Teaching and Assessor Awards (AET/PTLLS etc) and TAQA/CAVA/A1 or D Units, plus a Level 3 Electrical Installation/Maintenance qualification and C&G 7th edition or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Electrical Apprenticeships up to Level 3.
• Must hold recognised Teaching and Assessor Awards (AET, PTLLS etc) and TAQA/CAVA/A1 or D Units.
• Must hold Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation/Maintenance.
• C&G 7th edition or equivalent.
• Strong competency as an Electrician.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a Level 3 Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship, covering both practical and theoretical competencies (one to one and group delivery).
• Contribute to curriculum design and development, supporting the creation of practical tasks, assessments and learning resources.
• Carry out on-site visits to assess learners within their place of work, in addition to classroom-based training.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners' needs.

This is great opportunity to join an established training provider, to support the growth and development of their brand-new, Electrical Engineering department.
