Electrical Testing & Inspection Engineer

Sureserve Compliance South, part of the group, delivers heating services within the social housing sector across London and the South East, supporting clients in domestic gas, commercial gas, renewables, and electrical services.

Role

The role involves conducting electrical installation testing in customer properties and producing reports to meet BS7671 standards while ensuring safety.

• Carry out periodic inspections of electrical installations per BS7671
• Produce Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) meeting client and external standards (e.g., NICEIC)
• Perform electrical tests and inspections with proper documentation
• Adhere to health and safety policies
• Stay updated on standards, regulations, and best practices
• Complete remedial works when required

Candidate Requirements

• City & Guilds NVQ Level 3
• City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5
• City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience in social housing (desirable)
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work with diverse clients
