Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting an Electrical Testing Engineer for a national facilities management provider in West Cumbria. The role offers four nights per week with three-day weekends and a salary of £58,600 per year.

You will perform routine EICRs, reactive repairs, and minor installations while ensuring compliance with BS 7671 and safety rules. A full UK driving licence and vetting clearance are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2391/2392 (Inspection & Testing).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Proven background in fixed wire inspection and testing.
• Full, clean UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out periodic electrical inspection, testing (EICRs) and certification across estate infrastructure.
• Undertake reactive repairs and minor installation tasks to maintain compliance.
• Operate within SSOW, risk assessments and contract safety procedures.
