Job summary

GNA Group in South London is seeking a proactive Electrical Testing & Remedial Works Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on conducting EICRs across domestic and commercial properties, mainly social housing and local authority work, with remedial tasks during inspections.

You will complete certifications, report findings, and liaise with residents and clients, maintaining high safety standards and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the electrical industry.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Electrical Testing & Remedial Works Engineer to join one of our clients, this role is based predominantly in South London.

In this vital role, you will be responsible for completing fixed wiring testing (EICR) cross a variety of domestic and commercial properties, primarily within social housing and local authority sectors, which includes carrying out remedial works during the inspection visit where possible, with full rewires for non compliant properties.

Requirements for the role.

• Strong knowledge of the electrical industry
• Extensive experience in testing and inspection
• Competent in completing electrical certification
• Proven diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Accurate reporting and excellent attention to detail
• Confident using mobile devices to complete electronic job sheets
• Good practical skills and customer communication
• Positive attitude, reliability and good timekeeping

L3 Electrical Installations Diploma

• City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification (or equivalent - preferred)
• AM2 Assessment (preferred)

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G #removed#)
• Full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months)
