Job summary

The Best Connection in Golborne is seeking experienced Electrical Testers to join their busy refurbishment and repair department. You will test, inspect and prepare consumer electrical products to customer quality standards before dispatch.

Duties include testing, cleaning, packing, following work instructions, ensuring all accessories and manuals are included, performing final quality checks and labeling for palletisation.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools
• Knowledge of testing and reassembling electrical products
• Understanding of ESD precautions and processes
• Desirable: previous experience in electrical repair

The Best Connection have exciting new opportunities available in Golborne! Due to continued growth in business, our client, a leading provider of repair, returns and refurbishment services, is looking to recruit a number of experienced Electrical Testers to work in their busy department. You'll be responsible for testing a range of consumer electrical products, ensuring they meet customer quality standards before dispatch.

Key duties include:

• Testing, cleaning and packing consumer electrical products to customer specifications


• Following product-specific work instructions and testing procedures


• Ensuring all accessories, manuals and components are present and correctly packaged


• Carrying out final quality inspections before products are dispatched


• Applying labels and preparing products for safe palletisation and shipment


• Achieving productivity, turnaround and quality targets


• Maintaining clean and organised workstations and storage areas

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience using and maintaining hand tools


• Knowledge of testing and reassembling electrical products


• Understanding of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions and processes


• Previous experience in electrical repair (Desirable but not essential)


• Confidence dismantling electrical products and identifying reusable components (Desirable but not essential)

Shifts available, All Monday to Friday:

• 0600 - 1400


• 1400 - 2200
