Job summary

WysePower Ltd in Manchester is seeking an experienced Electrical Tester to join our on-site teams across sites in the Area. You will carry out initial and periodic inspections of temporary electrical installations and complete all relevant electrical certification.

You will work with the Regional Manager and NICEIC QS to uphold high safety and quality standards on site, with long-term opportunities, overtime and progression pathways.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent).
• Valid JIB Gold Card.
• 18th Edition and 2391-52 qualifications.
• Proven Test & Inspection experience.
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload on site.

Responsibilities

• Carry out initial and periodic inspections of temporary electrical installations.
• Complete all relevant electrical certification.
• Collaborate with Regional Manager and NICEIC QS to maintain safety and compliance on site.

Are you an experienced Electrical Tester looking for a stable, long‑term role with a respected name in the construction industry?

WysePower, one of the UK’s market‑leading integrated support services providers, is currently recruiting an Electrical Tester to be based from our Manchester depot, working across sites throughout the Area.

The Role

You’ll play a key role within our on‑site teams, carrying out initial and periodic inspections of temporary electrical installations and completing all relevant electrical certification. Working closely with the Regional Manager & NICEIC QS, you’ll help ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality are consistently achieved on site.
