Job summary

Raven Housing Trust is seeking two Electrical Testers to support its housing stock with electrical inspections, installations and maintenance in line with current standards. The role centers on delivering high-quality, customer-focused services while contributing to the wider multi-skilled trades team.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering electrical inspections and maintenance to current standards.
  • Ability to provide certification and compliance documentation for all electrical work.
  • Experience supporting void property repairs and re-letting timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in void properties to confirm electrical safety prior to re-letting.
  • Carry out CCU (Consumer Unit) replacements and remedial works to bring properties up to full compliance with current wiring regulations.
  • Provide certification and compliance documentation for all electrical work to support audit readiness and legal compliance.
  • Support fast turnaround of void properties by completing all required electrical tasks to an agreed timescale, enabling prompt re-letting.
  • Maintain van stock levels in line with job needs and usage trends to reduce non-productive time and increase repair completion rates.
  • Complete all job data on-site in real time using hand-held IT systems, enabling live job tracking, accurate cost control, and improved performance reporting.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering a high-quality, customer-focused electrical service across Raven's housing stock, including electrical inspections, installations, and maintenance to current legislative standards, whilst contributing to Raven's wider multi-skilled trades team. You will:
