Job summary

Raven Housing Trust is seeking an Electrical Tester to help ensure electrical safety in void properties before re-letting, and to perform CCU replacements and remedial works to meet current wiring regulations.

You will provide certification and compliance documentation to support audit readiness and legal compliance, while helping achieve fast turnaround of void properties and accurate live cost reporting from on-site data.

Qualifications

• Experience completing EICRs in void properties to confirm electrical safety.
• CCU (Consumer Unit) replacements and remedial works to ensure full compliance with wiring regulations.
• Ability to provide certification and compliance documentation for electrical work.

What you'll be doing

• - Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in void properties to confirm electrical safety prior to re-letting.
• - Carry out CCU (Consumer Unit) replacements and remedial works to bring properties up to full compliance with current wiring regulations.
• - Provide certification and compliance documentation for all electrical work to support audit readiness and legal compliance.
• - Support fast turnaround of void properties by completing all required electrical tasks to an agreed timescale, enabling prompt re-letting.
• - Maintain van stock levels in line with job needs and usage trends to reduce non-productive time and increase repair completion rates.
• - Complete all job data on-site in real time using hand-held IT systems, enabling live job tracking, accurate cost control, and improved performance reporting.
