Job summary

Vertiv Ireland is seeking Test Team Operatives/Technicians to support testing of LV/HV switchgear, ensuring safety, accuracy, and reliability in all test activities. You will work with production and project teams to uphold quality standards and drive continuous improvement.

Role involves conducting predefined electrical tests, maintaining records, and collaborating with Project Managers and CAD teams on change orders and FAT/FWT handovers with clients.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of LV switchgear and associated control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to safety and quality.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety in areas where live testing is conducted.
• Verify tools and test equipment are safe and inspected.
• Conduct predefined electrical tests on LV and HV switchgear.
• Accurately record test results in digital and manual records.
• Verify results align with preset acceptable values.
• Upload and manage test reports in the system repository.
• Assist with fault diagnosis and remedial actions as needed.
• Flag electrical design issues using the Change Order system.
