Job summary

Electrical Test Operator based in Bolton, Greater Manchester, on a 12 month contract with a Defence and Aerospace leader. Applicants should hold an NVQ Level 3 apprenticeship and have experience in electrical testing. Salary £28.35ph Inside IR35.

You will perform test tasks, certify products, maintain certification via audits, set up testing procedures, test electronic equipment, fault-find, keep records and ensure compliance with manufacturing procedures.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 apprenticeship in electrical engineering.
• Experience in electrical/electronic testing.
• Formal further education such as HNC or equivalent certificate.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out test tasks within the operational business.
• Certify the product in line with Product Certification procedures.
• Maintain product certification and approval via regular audits.
• Carry out setting-up procedures for testing.
• Carry out tests on electronic equipment in accordance with test instructions.
• Carry out simple fault-finding procedures on electronic equipment.
• Keep test records and reporting faults for rectification.
• Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.
