Job summary

phs Compliance in the Liverpool area is seeking an experienced Electrical Test & Inspection Engineer to join our expanding team. You will carry out inspection and testing of electrical installations (EICRs) and undertake emergency lighting testing, fire alarm inspections, mains analysis and thermal imaging, with responsibility for timely reports and certification.

The ideal candidate will hold NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds, 18th edition and AM2, show strong Health & Safety knowledge, IT literacy,

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 Part 1 & 2
City & Guilds 18th Edition
City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395
AM2 qualification
Experience working in an electrical testing environment
Experience with electrical installation or project work
Strong understanding of UK Health & Safety regulations
Good IT literacy
IPAF 3a & 3b licence
Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 points)

Responsibilities

Carrying out inspection and testing of electrical installations (EICRs)
Completing Emergency Lighting Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Mains Analysis and Thermal Imaging
Undertaking minor remedial repairs as required
Completing reports and certification using cloud-based software
Ensuring all documentation is submitted accurately and on time
